School Exam Week Command Card

Overview

School Exam Week Command Card is a prompt-only skill that produces a one-page printable command card for exam week logistics. It organizes exam dates, subjects, times, locations, required materials, transportation, sleep targets, meals, and post-exam resets into a single visible card that prevents morning chaos and exam-week misses.

This skill is not a study planner. It is a logistics card for ensuring the right materials and timing are in place each exam day.

When to Use

Use this skill when the user asks to:

  • Create an exam week logistics card
  • Build a command center sheet for final exams
  • Organize exam dates, materials, and transportation
  • Prepare a night-before and morning checklist for exam days
  • Set up a parent support card for exam week coordination

Trigger keywords: exam week checklist, student command card, final exam planner, school test prep, study materials checklist, parent school organizer, exam morning checklist, exam week logistics, school exam schedule

Workflow

Step 1 -- Exam Schedule Collection

Ask the user for:

  • Exam dates, subjects, and times
  • Exam locations (room, building, or online)
  • Transportation needs for each exam
  • Any special scheduling notes (late start, extended time)

Step 2 -- Required Materials

Ask which items must be prepared for each exam:

  • Calculator, charger, pencils, pens, erasers
  • Student ID, exam admission ticket
  • Notes or permitted reference sheets
  • Uniform or dress code requirements
  • Water bottle and permitted snacks
  • Any subject-specific materials (protractor, ruler, dictionary)

Step 3 -- Command Card Build

Build a one-page command card sorted by day and exam time. Each row includes:

  • Day and date
  • Exam subject and time
  • Location or room
  • Transportation or ride note
  • Required materials for that exam
  • Sleep target for the night before

Step 4 -- Night-Before Checklist

Add a night-before checklist with:

  • Bag packed with all materials for the next exam
  • Alarm set with backup
  • Device charged (calculator, phone, laptop)
  • Route or transportation confirmed
  • Outfit or uniform laid out
  • ID and admission ticket visible

Step 5 -- Morning Launch Checklist

Add a morning launch checklist with only the critical items that must not be forgotten:

  • Grab bag and materials
  • ID check
  • Water bottle and snack
  • Departure time confirmed
  • Last restroom stop before leaving

Step 6 -- Post-Exam Reset Row

Add a decompression and reset row after each exam with:

  • Clear papers and notes from the last subject
  • Set out materials for the next exam
  • Take a break (time and activity suggestion)
  • Review the next day's exam details

Step 7 -- Parent or Support Note Area

Add a parent or support note area for:

  • Pickup changes or carpool coordination
  • Encouragement or motivational note
  • Household quiet hours during study time
  • Special meal or snack plans

Output Format

The output includes:

  1. Command Card -- One-page daily grid with exam rows sorted by day and time
  2. Night-Before Checklist -- Pre-exam evening preparation list
  3. Morning Launch Checklist -- Critical items for exam morning
  4. Post-Exam Reset Rows -- Decompression and next-exam prep for each day
  5. Parent Support Area -- Notes section for pickup, encouragement, and quiet hours

Safety and Compliance

  • Does not tutor, predict exam content, or guarantee performance outcomes
  • Does not replace official school instructions, exam regulations, or permitted-materials lists
  • Asks users to confirm exam dates, times, permitted materials, and rules with the school
  • Does not provide study strategies, academic advice, or test-taking techniques
  • This is a descriptive prompt-flow skill with zero code execution, zero network calls, and zero credential requirements

Acceptance Criteria

  1. User provides exam dates, subjects, and times; output is a one-page command card
  2. Command card rows include day, date, subject, time, location, transportation, and materials
  3. Night-before checklist covers packing, alarm, charging, route, and outfit
  4. Morning launch checklist contains only critical must-not-forget items
  5. Post-exam reset row appears after each exam day
  6. Parent support area includes pickup, encouragement, and quiet hours
  7. No tutoring, performance guarantees, or replacement of official instructions

Examples

Example 1: High School Finals

User says: "My daughter has three finals this week: math Monday at 8 AM, history Tuesday at 10 AM, and chemistry Wednesday at 8 AM. She needs her calculator for math and chem. I drive her each day."

Skill guides: Collect all three exam details, calculator requirement, transportation (parent drive). Produce a three-day command card with night-before and morning checklists, post-exam resets, and a parent note area with pickup times.

Example 2: College Exam Week

User says: "I have five exams spread across two weeks. I take the bus to campus. I need to remember my student ID, laptop charger, and water bottle."

Skill guides: Collect all five exams across two weeks, bus transportation, and materials list. Produce a two-week command card with bus departure times, material reminders, and post-exam reset rows.

Example 3: Parent Coordination

User says: "My son has exams but can't keep track of anything. I want a card I can put on the fridge so we both know what's happening."

Skill guides: Collect exam schedule and materials. Produce a large-format command card suitable for fridge posting. Emphasize the parent support area with pickup times, encouragement notes, and quiet hour reminders.
