- Use search snippets when sites block fetching (LinkedIn, Crunchbase).
- Cross-reference funding across 2+ sources.
- Prefer sources from last 12 months.
Output
Read references/template.md for the exact output structure. Sections:
- TLDR — 2-3 sentences + key facts table
- Product — what it does, differentiators, distribution
- Founders — 1-2 sentences each + LinkedIn
- Funding — rounds table + investors
- Traction — revenue, customers, signals, trajectory
- Competitors — table with one-line differentiation
- Moat & Risks — moat type, bull/bear case, verdict
Keep sentences short. No filler. If data unavailable, say so.
Edge Cases
- Stealth/early-stage: Mark missing sections. Lean on website + founders.
- Public company: Replace Funding with IPO info.
- Not found: Tell the user directly.
